The adventure in Pattern Grading turned out to be much easier than I expected, though time consuming! I have now created size 2, 3, 4, and 5. The lovely dancing models to the side are sporting size 2 and size 5. I have had requests for size 6 and 8! So more grading to follow.
I started a new design for a top and matching skirt. The top I have completed in a size 3 and the skirt should come along quickly once I have a chance to get started. There are ties on the shoulders and matching knots on the pockets. I really like how it turned out!
I received a package of Organic fabric yesterday from NearSea Naturals. I ordered two prints from Harmony Arts, Fields of Honey & Whispering Grass. Both are absolutely beautiful and hanging on the clothesline drying right now. In other exciting Organic Cotton Prints news...Nancy Mim of Mod Green Pod has just introduced a new Organic line through Robert Kaufman. The new line is available through on of my favorite places to order from, Harts Fabrics.
Now if I can just keep my distractions of a minimum I might be able to get something done! This weeks distractions included, but were not limited to: picking and shelling TONS of peas, cleaning the laundry room, and getting lost in the sunshine!
